My name is Michael James Ranallo. I grew up in a large Italian family consisting of four brothers and a step-sister. Fighting for the floor was never easy and waiting my turn was even harder. Later in life I discovered the spot light - I loved it. I realized that was where I needed to be. Holding's people's attention, whteher through impersonations, storytelling, skits, it all came easy for me. More importantly, it came naturally.

I started my career in television in 2000 at Arizona State University as a sports broadcaster. There, I learned the true power of the camera.

After graduating from ASU's Walter School of Journalism and Mass Communications, I auditioned and was cast as a guest for a FOX Reality TV show "Paradise Hotel Season 2," filmed in 2007. Shortly after, I was selected for commercials with HoneyWell and Bethany Home Services.

Most recently I appeared in two feature films with LIONSGATE. In the first, "The Crypt," I had a lead role. In the second film, "Ave Maria," I had a supporting role.

Synopsis: Six young criminals break into hidden catacombs underneath their town and attempt to steal jewelry buried from the Great Depression only to fine inhabitants guarding the precious belongings. After being trapped in this dark maze of crypts the group tries to escape alive.

The Crypt has been selected to play in 11 theaters throughout Arizona, southern California and in parts of Texas. Please come and join the cast and I at the Chandler Cinemas Theater off of Arizona Ave and just South of Warner Friday 4/30/2009 and Saturday 5/1/2009. Showtimes begin at 8:00pm with a second show following at 10:00pm (both Fri and Sat).
